Ingredients

  1. 1 cupSevai (vermicelli)
  2. 1-1/2 cup water
  3. 2 tablespoonoil
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 1/2 teaspoonmustard seed
  6. 1/2 teaspooncumin seed
  7. 1/2 teaspoonfennel seed
  8. 2green chilli
  9. 1small onion
  10. 1small potato
  11. 1small carrot
  12. 4-5Curry-leaves

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil and splutter mustard seed,cumin seed and fennel seed.

  2. 2

    Add curry leaves,green chilli,onion,potato,carrot and salt to taste. Cook for 2 minutes.

    Add sevai, saute for 1 minute then add water.

    Cook for 5 minutes or until sevai observed water and become thick. serve hot with tomato sauce.
