Kaju katli is a popular dessert is prepared during Indian festivals like Diwali, navratri, rakshabandhan. This can be easily prepared without much fuss and effort.
Steps

Firstly grind casewnut into a fine powder and sieve and keep a aside.

Heat sufficient water in a non stick pan add sugar and saffron mix and cook till syrup thickns.

Add elaichi powdered and mix well.

Add kaju powder and mix well. Cook for about 3 minutes mixture leaving the pan add 1tsp ghee and mix well.

Transfer the mixture onto thali and let it cool to room temperature.

Transfer mixture onto a workTop and knead a little.

Take a plate and press to form uniform layer.

Then roll the dough with a rolling pin adjusting the thickness according to the choice.

Cut the edges so that you can get perfect diamond shapes.

Now cut the dough into diamond shape and garnish with silver vark and let it set.

Finally ready to serve kaju karli.
