Rinse rice and dal in a water. Drain the water.

Heat ghee in pressure cooker add jeera and hing then add curry leaves, ginger green chillies and saute for a minutes.

Now add peanuts, cashwnuts, raisin saute for a minute.

Add rinsed rice and dal, salt and haldi. Mix well.

Add pomegranate seeds, carrot and water-3cup and give a quick stir and close the lid.

Pressure cook for 3 whistle on a medium flame.

Turn off the flame. Do not open the lid until pressure releases naturally.

Open the lid and mix with spoon and transfer in plate. Garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve hot with kadhi, papad and pickle.
