Peel yam and dice into desired shape, add salt then parboil till the yam is tender, drain water from the yam and set aside

Wash pepper and onions and place inside your blender, add a little salt and pound till they are almost crush

Remove it from the blender and heat up frying pan or a small sauce pan and add little veg oil and pour in blended pepper and cook till water dries out; then add dry fish

Add salt and stock cube, stir then add ugu leaf stir immediately and turn off heat and serve boiled with pepper sauce
