Ingredients

  1. 3.5 ozpeanuts (about 100 grams)
  2. Juice of 1 lemon
  3. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  4. 1/2 inchpiece ginger, grated
  5. 2green chilies
  6. 1 tablespoonoil
  7. 1 tablespoonmustard seeds

Steps

  1. 1

    Remove the skins from the roasted peanuts by rubbing them between your hands.

  2. 2

    In a blender, combine the peanuts, salt, ginger, lemon juice, green chilies, and a little water. Blend until smooth.

  3. 3

    Heat the oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds. Let them pop to make the tempering.

  4. 4

    Serve this chutney with idli and sambar.
