Ingredients

  • 2 cupsflour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoonsbaking powder
  • Pinchsalt
  • 1 1/2 cupssugar
  • 3eggs
  • 1 cupvegetable oil
  • 1/2 cupmilk
  • 1/2 cuptahini
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    Using an electric mixer, beat the sugar and eggs until the mixture is light in color.

  2. 2

    Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.

  3. 3

    Add the milk, oil, and flour to the egg and sugar mixture, and mix well. Then add the tahini.

  4. 4

    Pour the mixture into a baking pan (make sure the batter does not exceed half the depth of the pan).

  5. 5

    Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 53 minutes.
