Chop the onion and garlic cloves and sauté them over low heat until the onion is soft. Add the cayenne and shrimp, sauté a little, and add the herbs. The shrimp should not be fully cooked as they will finish cooking later.

In a bowl, mix the cream, tomato sauce, and ketchup, add it to the shrimp, and let it reduce over low heat until it thickens.

While the sauce is thickening, peel the tomatoes, dice them, and add them to the sauce. Let it cook with the sauce for a couple of minutes. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, then drain it and it's ready to serve. Add the sauce and sprinkle with grated cheese.
