Steps

Wash rice and let stay in water, AVOID SQUEEZING THE RICE WHILE WASHING

Put oil in the pan and fry the onion and potatoes until the color turns brown. I prefer to use this brand of olive oil below

Grind garlic with cinnamon, cardamon, curry powder and add, in the fried onions / potatoes

Put the rice in the mixture and add 3 mugs of water. When the water clears, cover well to let it cook. Ready to serve !

DO'S AND DONT'S...while cooking the rice note that the rice is the major food to come out perfect! so don't keep on stirring the rice in order to avoid it's breakage. There is a technique that you should follow...GO EAST to the center, WEST to the center, NORTH to the center and SOUTH to the center and let the rice cook itself until the water gets cleared.
