  1. 2 cupBasmati rice
  2. 500 gmsMutton
  3. 4Onion
  4. 8 - 10Garlic pods
  5. 1 inch stickGinger
  6. 1 tbspWhole garam masala
  7. 1 tbspWhole coriander leaves
  8. 1 tspWhole cumin seeds
  9. 2 tbspClarified butter

    Wash and soak the rice

    Heat clarified butter and fry the sliced onion

  3. 3

    Cut two onions in small pieces and crush the ginger garlic.

  4. 4

    Make a packet of whole garam masala.

  5. 5

    Boil the mutton with ginger,garlic,onion and whole garam masala packet with four cup of water.

  6. 6

    Cook in a slow flame

  7. 7

    Remove the yakhani.

  8. 8

    Heat clarified butter in a pan and add the mutton pieces

  9. 9

    Fry it and remove from the pan.

  10. 10

    Boil rice in a yakhani water and salt

  11. 11

    When rice is half done add mutton pieces and cover it and cook in a slow flame

  12. 12

    Serve hot
