Ingredients

for 18 servings
  • 280 gall purpose flour
  • 140 gfreshmilk
  • 6 gdry yeast
  • 25 gbutter
  • 1egg
  • Pinchof. salt
  • 20 gsugar (it's up to you)
  • 1/2Bread improver (better use it for softer and squishy)
  • Filling
  • 2 tbsor 3tbs custard powder
  • 500 mlfreshmilk
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 2 tbssugar
  • 1 tspcornstarch
  • 1 tspVanilla essence
  • Frying oil (as needed, enough to fill pot half way)
  • Castor Sugar & cinnamon powder to coat the bomboloni

Steps

  1. 1

    Rest for 30min until it double in size

    Then seperate it cut the dough using a round cookie cutter, rest the dough again about 15 min until it double in size.

    Pour and heat oil (medium heat) fry each side until It become golden. Remove from the oil place it on paper towel or frying tray. Coating with sugar cinnamon. For filling (custard or Nutella) just slit the doughnut with knife. My bomboloni is done 😋
