Ingredients

  • 1 kgfresh Tilapia Fish
  • 4big tomatoes
  • 9fresh peppers
  • 3gloves garlic
  • 5fresh red chilli pepper
  • 3Red bell pepper
  • 1big Onions
  • 1/2 cupvegetable oil
  • 2lime
  • 2stock cubes
  • Salt

    Wash you fish thoroughly. Rinse wellby squeezing yhetwo lime juice over it. This rud thd fish of tge smell and gives it a unique flavour. Once that is done, add a lillte salt and allow yo sit pretty till you needit.

    Add all the fresh ingredient, onions and garlic in a blender and end till smooth. Add water so its light but not watery.

  3. 3

    Put a pot ob fire, once it heats up, pour in the 1/2 cup of vegetable oil, once the oil us hot, pour in the blended tonaroes mix. Stir quickly and allow to boil.

    Once it sysrts boiling, add you stock cube add salt and place the fresh Tilapia fish into the pot lightly. Stir gently and allow to cook for 20mins.but you need to stir gently at interval.

  5. 5

    After 20mins, the water content should have gone down and the stew will be light but not watery...taste for salt. Give a smal stir and allow to simmer for 4 mins... Remove from heat..

  6. 6

    Please note the lime juice used in cleaning the fish, makes it tender, so you need not worry whether the fish will cook through during that 20-25 mins time.
