Tofu & Egg Cheese Bake

It looks like a pizza, but the base is a mixture of Tofu and Egg. It is super easy & quick to prepare. For toppings, you can use whatever you like or you have in hand. It is extremely nutritious, high in protein, carb-free and gluten-free! Why don’t you try it?

Cooking Instructions

Preheat the oven to 200C.
- 2
Break down and mash Firm Tofu in a bowl, add Eggs, Salt & Pepper, and make it into coarse paste texture.

Grease inside a baking dish (I used a pie dish) with Olive Oil and spoon the tofu mixture in the dish. Spread evenly and press down using the spoon.

Top with the sliced ingredients of your choice, arrange them evenly on the tofu mixture and cover with Cheese.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.

While experimenting to make a tofu-cream that doesn't smell like tofu, I put it in the freezer to chill it quickly. It turned into ice cream... and my daughters loved it! You can barely notice the tofu smell.There are various ways to drain tofu, but squeezing was the easiest and fastest method to adjust (the amount of water to drain), so that's what I've been using.By boiling the tofu and squeezing it out thoroughly, the distinctive taste of tofu is neutralized, and the texture of the "cream" becomes smooth and rich. If you press too hard on the tofu while draining the water, the tofu will strain out, so the key is to press firmly, yet slowly.
