Steps

Wash and add the meat in a food processor, add the carrots, sweet pepper, onions, garlic, ginger and grind. Peel and cut the potatoes in cubes. Boil the potatoes.

Pour the mixture into a pot / pan and add 1cup of water. While it cooks, add 1tspn sugar, 2tbsp flour, 1maggi cube, 2tbsp tomato paste and soy sauce then add the potatoes. Turn off the heat when it thickens and the meat is cooked.

In a bowl, add a pinch of salt and 2tbsp butter to 2cups of flour. Add a little water and mix to make a dough. Divide the dough into two. One a bit smaller than the other.

Roll out and spread the smaller dough into a casserole dish (greased with butter). Bake for 10mins

When the dough is baked, pour in the filling i.e the meat mixture. Roll out the second dough and spread over the filling and using your hands, make sure it meets the first dough in the dish. Use a toothpick to make some holes at the top. Bake in the oven

After five minutes in the oven, remove and egg wash. Bake for another 10 to 15mins

How to egg wash: beat 1egg in a bowl with little water. Use paint brush to spread the egg.
