Steps

40mins.
  1. 1

Wash the pomo and season with onions, salt, pepper, garlic and cook till its tender.

  2. 2

If the stock is almost dried, add water, throw in the washed Okporoko and smoked fish, allow to boil...pour in the sliced okra, palm oil, salt, fresh pepper, Periwinkles, dtir gently so the smoked fish doesnt scatter and cook for 4 mins...don't cover the pot

  3. 3

Add the bitter leaves, crayfish, bkack pepper and crumbles the last bouillon cube over, stir gently and taste for salt...allow to simmer for 3 mins and voila the soup is ready.

  4. 4

Dish soup into your favourite soup bowl and enjoy with semo or wheat. A friend told me recently that people from Ondo state, Western part of Nigeria usually prepare this Okra and Bitter leave soup but they eat their with Pounded Yam..😋🍸🍹
