Ingredients

  1. 250 gmBrinjal
  2. 2 tsp mustard, red chilli powder
  3. 1 tsp dhaniya powder
  4. 1 cupbaked thuvaran dal
  5. 2 tsp tamarind paste
  6. 1 cupgrated coconut
  7. 1 tspmustard, perungayam, urad dal
  8. 1 bunchcurry leaves

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Cut the vegetable into small pieces.

  2. 2

    In a pan add water and cook the vegetable. After 5 minutes, add tamarind paste, dania powder, red chilli powder,salt

  3. 3

    Cook for 10 minues and then add the grated coconut.

  4. 4

    In a frying pan fry the mustard, perungayam urad dal, curry leaves add to the Brinjal Gravy.

  5. 5

    Katharikai Rasavangi is ready to taste.
