Tumis Picung / Pangium Edulae Stir Fry

Sounds unfamiliar? Well it is only found in South Easf Asia and it is actually poisonous but then can be eaten by fermentation. The ripe and fermented pangium can be used as spice and usually is made it a dish called "rawon" or black beef soup, black because the stock uses pangium which gives the colour and that distinctive taste.
How does it taste? It is soft and crunchy at the same time and when eaten it tastes like peanuts and edamame.
Hope you like it!
