In a stand mixer pour the butter and sugar and beat on high speed until it becomes light and fluffy. Add in the eggs one by one and beat. Add the flour, baking powder,salt,vanilla and beat for 3mins.add the buttermilk and beat to combine.do not over mix.pour in a greased pan and bake. Decorate as desired.
