In a mixing bowl add wheat flour, salt and 2 tsp ghee. Mix them well. Now add water as needed and make a soft dough. Cover and keep the dough aside for 20 minutes.

Heat a pan and add 2 tsp ghee. Add coconut and sugar. Mix them well. Keep stirring and cooking till the mixture becomes dry. Turn off the flame and leave it to cool. Add cardamom powder and mix it well. Keep it aside.

Make lemon sized balls of the dough and roll them out into thin chapatis.

Now put 2 tsp coconut mixure at the centre of a chapati. Spread a little leaving 1/2 inch from it's edge. Half-fold the chapati and gently press it's edges with the help of a fork so that both the edges (i.e. the lower and the upper edge) stick together. Repeat the process to make similar stuffed parathas of the remaining chapatis.

Heat a griddle/ tawa, add some ghee and spread it evenly. Roast the paratha from both the sides until brown spots appear on it. Apply ghee on top while flipping. Remove the paratha from the griddle and cut into halves.

Thus ready is the coconut stuffed paratha to be served hot.
