Pour malai in a bowl/vessel and beat it with the help of electronic hand blender.

First cream/malai will turn into whipped cream with soft stiff peaks.keep going and beat until butter separates from the malai/buttermilk.(2-3 mins)

Remove all leftover liquid in another bowl,and squeeze the butter with hand or spatula 2-3 times, until the all liquid squeezed out.

Homemade butter is ready, if you want to use it as butter then set it in any mould and freeze it or otherwise you can heat it on low to medium flame to making homemade ghee.

Note - You can use hand blender too but it takes little long time.

In cold weather you can add little warm water.

Homemade ghee.
