Cut fish into desired sizes, boil water and pour in the fish, allow to sit for 10 seconds and drain. Wash with normal water, squeeze lemon into 200ml of water and pour in the washed fish, allow to sit for 15 minutes then drain, this will reduce the smell of the fish.

Season with maggi, turmeric, black pepper, salt and put in the freezer or sun-dry for at least an hour then fry.

Serve with yaji and fruit juice and enjoy.
