Ingredients

4 servings
  • 200 ml (1 cup)whipping cream
  • 2-3 tbsppowdered sugar
  • 8-10ginger nuts (ginger biscuits)
  • 1 cupchopped mango or any fruit of your choice
  • 2 tbsppassion fruit pulp
  • 4 tbsppassion fruit syrup
  • Topping;
  • chocolate chips or chopped nuts

Steps

  1. 1

    You can make the trifle in one big bowl or in individual containers like dessert bowls or glasses.

  2. 2

    Add the cream to a container. Add powdered sugar. Whip till soft peaks are formed.

  3. 3

    Top it with half amount of fruit.
    Add half amount of passion fruit pulp over the fruit.

  4. 4

    Snap the biscuits with your hands into small pieces.
    Make a layer using half of the biscuits.

  5. 5

    Top with half amount whipped cream.

  6. 6

    Repeat the layers again, broken biscuits, fruit and cream.
    Garnish with chopped nuts or chocolate chips.

  7. 7

    Drizzle passion fruit syrup over the trifle.
    Let the trifle chill in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes.
    Serve chilled.

    Add fruit of your choice.

    Add ice cream instead of whipped cream.

    Can use cookies of your choice like digestives, Oreo, coconut etc.
