Quick fry kipper fillet in little olive oil and butter

In the same pan, fry onion in little oil, add curry leaf, curry powder, turmeric and green chill's; then tomatoes

Allow to slowly simmer for 15 minutes before adding the kippers back to the pan. Garnish as you like including lemon or lime

For the saffron rice. Steam rice with safron. Once done, strain and fry in butter and serve
