Ingredients

  • 1cabbage - shredded
  • 1leek - halved lengthways then sliced
  • 2 handfulskale - roughly chopped
  • 1onion - chopped
  • 5carrots - chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoontarragon
  • 1/2 teaspoonmarjoram
  • 80 gbutter
  • flour
  • milk
  • breadcrumbs
  • cheese

    Cook the cabbage, leek, onion, and carrots with the herbs on a low heat in 2 tbsp of olive oil for 20-30 mins until softened.

    Make white sauce from the butter, flour and milk

  3. 3

    Pre heat the oven to 180C

  4. 4

    Transfer the vegetables to a casserole dish, pour over the white sauce and then top with breadcrumbs and cheese

  5. 5

    Cook in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Until the cheese and breadcrumbs start to brown
