Sago or sabudana kheer is a famous sweet dish .It can be consumed in fast also. When we add banana in it ,then the sago payasam tastes so delicious.and healthy also.

Sago or sabudana kheer is a famous sweet dish .It can be consumed in fast also. When we add banana in it ,then the sago payasam tastes so delicious.and healthy also.
Steps

Boil the milk in a heavy bottom pan. After a boil add soaked sabudana in it and stir constantly on low heat.otherwise milk can be burnt.

Cut the Bananas into small pieces Keep aside. cut the dry fruits into small pieces

When sabudana gets cook then in boiling milk add saffron milk and stir it.Now add chopped cashews and almonds.stir continuously on low flame till dense.

Add sugar and mashed banana.and mix well.add cardamom powder and cook it for 2,3 minutes or until it thickens.

Now turn off the flame.Let it cool.

Before serving garnish the payasam with chopped dry fruits and some pieces of banana.
