Ingredients

  • 1 cupgrated apple
  • 2 cupbread crumbs
  • 2 tspcornflour
  • as neededOil or ghee
  • as neededWater
  • to tasteSugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Make a sugar syrup by heating the sugar and water together until the sugar has dissolved and turn off the gas before it goes to a 1 string consistency.

  2. 2

    In a bowl, add grated apple, bread crumbs, corn flour.

  3. 3

    Mix well and knead a smooth dough.

  4. 4

    Make small balls.

  5. 5

    Heat oil or ghee in a pan and deep fry all balls till golden brown.

  6. 6

    Add apple balls in sugar syrup and leave to soak for 1hr.

  7. 7

    Sweet apple gulab jamun is ready.
