Steps

Wash twice all the ingredients rice, Urad dal, Methi seeds, Chana dal, poha and soak in water about 5 to 6 hours.

In a mixie jar add soaked rice and dal and water. Grind smooth batter transfer to vessel and keep the batter for rest 5 to 6 hours for fermentation.

Add salt to the batter and mix well.

Heat the tawa apply oil, pour the batter and spread thickly and pour oil and close the lid for few seconds and then spread heap of butter, flip spread the butter both sides and cook properly. Transfer to serving plate.

Enjoy soft and spongy butter Dosa with coconut chutney and Aloo sagoo.
