Wash and soak rice for 20 to 30 minutes.
Add 1 & ½ cups water,salt to the pan, soft cook the rice.Fluff up the rice or mash lightly to suit your liking. Cool it completely. - 2
Heat oil in a pan.
Add cumin and mustard. - 3
When they begin to splutter, add split green chillies,ginger,dals and fry until golden.Add ginger, chilli and curry leaves.
When the curry leaves turn crisp, add hing. - 4
Add grated coconut,roast for few seconds.Switch off the flame.

Add yogurt to the rice. Mix pomegrante seeds,coriander leaves.
Pour the seasoning and mix. South indian style curd rice is ready. - 6
Put the prepared rice in a square container and keep in refrigerator to get chilled.Transfer into a plate.Serve after garnishing with pomegrante seeds.
