In a saucepan add cashews, chopped ginger garlic, chopped tomato, cardamom and cloves and a pinch of salt with 1/2 cup water and boil. Let it cool and grind into a fine paste.

Heat oil in a kadhai add finely chopped onion and fry till light brown. Then add the cashew paste, chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt.mix well. Add little water if required and cook till the oil is release on sides.

Then add cream garam masala and kasuri methi. Mix well on low flame. Then add paneer cut in triangle shapes and cover and cook for 2min. Serve hot with roti or rice.
