Steps

Boil water & jaggery in a pan and stir well until the jaggery melts. Strain the jaggery to remove the impurities. In a bowl, mix together the all purpose flour, rice flour, mashed bananas, melted jaggery, cardamom powder, baking soda, & salt and make a thick batter of dropping consistency.

Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan at medium-high flame. Using your hand, take a handful of the batter and carefully pour/squeeze it into the oil in the shape of a tamarind. Deep fry until it turns brown in colour. Drain onto a paper towel and serve hot with tea or coffee!
