Aate Ki barfi

Heat a pan and add melted ghee

Once ghee is hot add gehu ka aata/ wheat flour. Keep the flame low

Mix ghee and aata on low flame. Keep mixing otherwise aata can burn

To it add half of chopped almonds and Elaichi/ Cardamom powder. Mix well

After 10 minutes there will be aromat smell of the mixture which means mixture is cooked. Once mixture is cooked turn off the flame and let the mixture cool for 5 minutes

After 5 minutes, the mixture will not be extremely hot. To that add Jaggery/ Gur and mix well. Remember the flame is still off

Grease a plate with ghee and transfer the mixture on plate

Spread the mixture evenly on plate and garnish it with remaining chopped almonds. Press the almonds gently.

After 5 minutes, gently make even cuts in the plate of barfi size.

Barfi will take around half hour to set. After 30 minutes take the barfi out in serving plate. Barfi is ready to serve.. ENJOY!!!!
