Steps

Keep all the ingredients ready

Mash the cooked rice and add all the ingredients and mix well. Make cylindrical shape of the mixture

In a kadai add water and keep it on low flame
- 4
Put a steel chalni on it
- 5
Cover it with muslin cloth and arrange the cylinders on it
- 6
Cover the cylinders with muslin cloth properly
- 7
Cover the kadai with a steel plate so no steam escapes
- 8
Let them cook on steam for 15 mins. Keep aside and let them cool.

In another kadai, take ghee and add wheat flour and saute till nice aroma comes or golden brown

Add warm water to it stirring continuously to avoid lumps of flour

Add Jaggery and Cardamon powder and mix well. Keep aside and let it cool.

Now cut the cooled fundkas in small rounds

Now in another kadai, add oil and add Rai and jeera and temper them
- 14
Add fundka rounds and a tsp of sugar and mix lightly.
