Peel sponge gourd and boil in water till tender.Remove from water.

Beat curd properly add besan mix well till no lump remain,add ½ cup water,buttermilk, chilli ginger garlic paste and salt mix well.Boil it on medium flame. Stir occasionally and give one boil, now add boiled sponge gourd.

Heat oil in tempering pan add mustard seeds when splutter remove from flame add asafoetida and mix in kadhi. Garnish with coriander leaves.Serve with rice
