Ingredients

  • 2Large Karelas
  • 2 tbspSesame Oil
  • 5Onions of Spring Onions (Chopped)
  • 1Regular Onion (Sliced)
  • 3-4Green Chillies (Half slited)
  • 1/4 tspTurmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tspPepper Powder
  • 1 tspChilli Powder
  • 1 tspGaram Masala
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the karelas nicely. Cut it into two halves. Remove the seeds. Slice the halves and keep aside.

  2. 2

    In a cooking pan, heat sesame oil. Add only the onion part of the spring onions and the regular sliced onions and green chillies and fry till half done.

  3. 3

    Add the Karela slices. Saute it for few minutes with the onions.

  4. 4

    Add the powdered spices and salt and cover and cook till done.

  5. 5

    Ready to serve.

But for #goldenapron challenge..you need to add preparation photos in method steps ( as per contest rules)..please edit them.
