Heat a tbspn of oil in a dee based frying pan.Add a pinch of asafoetida, mustard seeds and curry leaves and fry a little.

Mix the besan with salt sugar and water to make a batter.

Put the batter in the fried spices inthe pan.Add chopped chillies. Keep stirring till the water dries out and the mixture thickens. Add some oil occassionally.

Remove from the fllame and allow the mixture to cool.

In the meantime mix the curd with salt and sugar and beat up.Add chilli flakes and keep aside.

Knead the besan mix with some more oil into a smooth dough.

Make medium size balls of the dough. (6to7).Roll out the doughs into small chapatis on a board.Fold one side and rollit from the side within to give a cylindrical shape.Repeat the same with the remaining dough balls.

Cut the cylinders with a sharp knife into small pieces. Before serving spinkle curry leaves at top.Serve with the curd.
