Put flour, salt n 3/4 of the pepper in a gallon zip lock. Shake to mix. Cut onions in 1/4. Put onions in a pot of water to cover a little above. Add 1/4 stick of butter n rest of the pepper n boil. Simmer on low. In a cast iron Skillet add oil to 1/2in. Heat on med high. Shake liver in bag n add to hot oil only to quickly brown on both sides n remove n set aside til all is browned. Lower heat to med on pan. Add 1/2 stick of butter to pan. Add almost the rest it the mixed flour to pan. When thickens add pan of onions n all water. Keep whisking. If too thick add more water. Then add Worcestershire sauce. Add more if you want gravy to be more brown. Whisk until all mixed n not too thick. Add all liver n cover pan n set just above simmer 20 min. And serve.
