
Kaya / Coconut jam
A family favourite with toast & butter
Steps

Warm up coconut milk and sugar

Separate eggs, mix the yolks with a chopstick

Add 2 tbsp some of the coconut milk mixture to the yolk for tempering
- 4
Mix the whole yolk mixture into the coconut milk & sugar mixture
- 5
Keep stiring on the heat until thicken, smooth and shiny.

Serve with toast and butter. Keep for a week in the fridge!
