Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 500 gmsChicken
  2. 2chopped onions
  3. 2chopped tomatoes
  4. 2 tbspginger garlic paste
  5. 1 tspturmeric powder
  6. 1 tspred chilli powder
  7. 1 tspcumin powder
  8. 1 tspcoriander powder
  9. 6 tbspmustard oil
  10. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  11. leavesChopped coriander
  12. to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash chicken, add salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, little mustard oil and mix well.

  2. 2

    Heat a pan, add mustard oil.

  3. 3

    Add chopped onions and cook.

  4. 4

    Add salt and cook until it turns golden brown.

  5. 5

    Add ginger garlic paste and saute for few minutes.

  6. 6

    Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and mix well.

  7. 7

    Add chopped tomatoes and cook until the mixture begins to leave the pan. You can see oil getting separated from the mixture.

  8. 8

    Add marinated chicken and saute.

  9. 9

    Reduce the heat. Cover the lid and cook for few minutes. Check in between. Cook until chicken turns soft.

  10. 10

    Add little water and cook for few minutes.

  11. 11

    Add garam masala and chopped coriander leaves.
