Cooking Instructions

Remove the shrimp heads, peel the shells (leave the tails), and clean the veins on the back. Rinse well and place in a bowl, set aside. Separate the squid from its head, take the body, clean it, and cut into pieces. Squeeze lime juice over the squid and shrimp, let sit for a moment, then rinse with water and drain. Cut the corn into pieces, boil until cooked. Remove and drain.

Slice the onion and green onion. Mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl, stir well. Grind the spices until smooth, set aside.

Heat a little oil in a pan, sauté half of the onion until fragrant. Add the ground spices and kaffir lime leaves, sauté until the spices are cooked. Add the sauce and water, stir until boiling. Add the shrimp and squid, stir again until the shrimp changes color.

Add the corn, remaining onion, and sliced green onion to the pan. Stir until well mixed and boiling. Adjust the taste. Add the cornstarch solution and stir again until thickened. Remove and serve on a plate.

Stuffed-Squid In Scrambled Egg Sambal Sauce Stuffed-Squid In Scrambled Egg Sambal Sauce
I'm trying to make a healthier sambal sauce but I cannot avoid the oil in order to 'fry' the chilli paste. Or else the sambal won't be delicious and there's a distinct smell which makes it taste a bit funny to my liking. For now i'm just using olive oil.Hit me up if you have other style of cooking healthier sambal! Intan S. -

Chinese-style Stir-Fried Squid and Broccoli Chinese-style Stir-Fried Squid and Broccoli
I was able to buy a ton of cheap squid fin, so, I made this dish without much thought… which, actually, turned out to be delicious. My husband gobbled it up, saying, "I can't stop reaching for it!"You only need to stir-fry briefly since the ingredients are blanched.(I thought that by blanching the ingredients first I won't need to worry about whether or not they are cooked enough. It's slightly tedious, but that's why I went through the blanching. Recipe by Blue bea cookpad.japan -

Fried Silkworms (Dak Dtae/Hon Mhai) Fried Silkworms (Dak Dtae/Hon Mhai)
Dak dtae or hon mhai is a Lao/Thai (respectively) silkworm dish that is a salty, savory, and flavorful food. The silkworms become crispy on the outside while the inside remains soft. I prefer to cook them longer to obtain an even crunchier exterior. The salt, fish sauce, soy sauce, and chili is added to your taste. Helena
