This is koknis sweet snack, we call it khandoles

Ingredients

  1. 3 cups, @ 250 gms Maida (All Purpose Flour)
  2. 5 tbspCustard powder
  3. 1Egg
  4. 1 tspBaking powder
  5. pinchSalt
  6. 1 tspElaichi (Cardamon powder)
  7. 3/4 cupMargarine or Butter
  8. 1 cupCastor sugar
  9. as neededoil

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Mix all dry ingredients then add egg and butter and mix well.

  2. 2

    Bind into soft dough using warm milk. Roll into roti then cut in diamonds, when all done deep fry on medium or low flame to golden brown colour.

    Can sprinkle castor sugar on it or just leave as it is. Store in airtight when it cold.
