Mix gram flour and rice flour in a bowl.

Add hot oil, carom seeds and salt, mix well.

Add water and prepare a tight dough.

Take a small portion of dough and roll it into a small ball.

Roll the dough evenly over rolling board.

Grab one end of it and rotate on the other side.

Now join both the ends as shown in the image and make thethri.

Prepare all in the same way.

Heat oil in a kadai for deep frying.

Add thethris and deep fry on low-medium flame until crispy and golden brown.

Enjoy this snack during tea time.

You can store it for 25-30 days in air tight container.
