This is a recipe for fried bread that is used to make Indian Tacos. This is a yeast version. I revised a recipe that my mother-in-law gave me into easy to make measurements.-The moisture of the dough may vary depending on the type of flour used and the humidity, so adjust accordingly.-The dough should be just a little bit softer than your earlobe.-I used the rapid rise type of yeast that can be used instantly after mixed with the flour. Nancy's Homemade Bread Nancy's Homemade Bread
Nancy has been making bread for 40+ years to give away to people who needed encouragement, were sick, were friends/family, or just needed a meal. Nancy's smile was warmer than her bread and with each loaf came the love of Christ.Nancy is my mom. Every Monday for as long as I can remember she can be found making her bread. When I was in school the smell of fresh bread met me at the end of the driveway and we all knew there was a hot slice waiting for us inside. Many years, and 2 generations later, my kids (and the other grand-kids) and her great-grand-kids who make that same trek are still welcomed by the lingering smell of fresh bread to receive her unbelievable love wrapped in a buttery loaf.Enjoy this recipe and be sure to give a loaf away to continue the love of my amazing mother.Video tutorial: https://youtu.be/mD59Rfk70Fg Randy -

Full of Nostalgia: Fried Bread Full of Nostalgia: Fried Bread
This is a kinako covered bread that I loved for school lunch a long time ago. The first time I thought about making this was when I was talking about school lunch and I realized that it had been awhile and I wanted to eat it. The school lunch version had an oval shape, but I wanted to use a lot of soy powder, so I made it into a longer shape and it became this shape. This is one thing my child and I love.In Step 5, when twisting the dough, be sure to twist it properly to they roll up well in Step 7. Sometimes I add ground sesame for more flavor. For 16 rolls.
