Steps

  1. 1

    Grate your coconuts like so

  2. 2

Blend them with some water, I skipped this stage for lack of a blender but either way it works, you can just mix your grated coconuts with water and mix thoroughly

  3. 3

Squeeze the mixture using a cloth or strainer to get coconut milk

  4. 4

Let the mixture stay in a fridge or a cold place for a while so that water separates from the cream. This will save you lot's of time that you'd have waited for the water to evaporate.

  5. 5

Bring the creamy mixture to a boil and reduce the heat once it boils. Stir it constantly

  6. 6

After a while the oil will start forming from the sides so just scrape in the reside like so for a few minutes.

  7. 7

Let it cool for a while then strain it into something for it to cool even more before you can transfer to an airtight jar

  8. 8

The oil! Pure and smells great!!
