Iloka is a delicious traditional sweet. When making it, you have to be very fast to avoid sticking and hardening especially while cutting it.

Iloka is a delicious traditional sweet. When making it, you have to be very fast to avoid sticking and hardening especially while cutting it.

Pour condensed milk and butter in a pot under medium heat

Add butterscotch flavor and stir in slowly until the butter has melt completely

Keep on stirring quickly until it's thick and has turned to a sticky light brown color, don't allow it to burn

Place leather on a working surface, rub it with butter to avoid sticking, pour in your Iloka,sprinkle some dessicated coconut and then place another butter greased leather on top

Flatten it with rolling stick (it should not be too flat), and then use a round cutter to remove the shape, or cut into desired shape with knife or cookies cutter

Remove the leather and the shaped Iloka. Enjoy 😋

Flavor and dessicated coconut are optional,you can just use condensed milk and margarine. Don't forget to cook snap 😍
