Cut the top part of onion and let the bottom remain. peel the skin and soak in water for some time and cut the onion as shown. Take an egg and add milk and mix well. In a bowl add the flour and all spices and mix well.

Pat dry the onion and add the flour on the onion and let it coat all the petals, secondly dip in the egg milk mix and again coat in the flour. coat each petals so that the layers be apart and form a flower.

Rest it for sometime (1/2-1 hour) in the freezer or for long in fridge to set. Take the onion out and deep fry in oil till both side are crisp. Drain it and cut the middle part of onion and serve with chilli mayo sauce.
