BATA MACHER JAAL is a delicious sweet-water fish that tastes great in this light , soupy broth that is paired with potatoes . This recipe is a lunch staple at my home

Cut and clean the fish and coat with fishes in a pinch of turmeric powder and salt.

Heat oil in a mustard oil in a wok. Fry them till brown in colour, keeping the flame between moderator to high, alternately, so as to keep the oil usable for cooking the curry. Once fishes are fried, take them off the heat and keep aside.

Fry the potato in same oil and take it out.

Add chopped onion in same oil fry for 2 minutes, then add ginger garlic paste and fry oil.

Now add the chopped tomato and fry it well.

Now add all spice powder and mix well fry until oil leaves the side of the pan.

Add 1 cup of water into the wok, and bring the gravy to a boil add fried potato and fish. Cook it for 8 minutes.

Serve the Yummy Bata Macher Jaal only Steam Rice.
