Cooking Instructions

Choose ripe pulpy mangoes and slice it. Scoop the pulp and keep it separately.

In a heavy bottom kadhai add mango pulp and sugar together and mix well on a medium heat. Let the sugar dissolve well with the pulp. Reduce to low heat and stir continuously until the mango mixture thickens. Wait until the mango mixture swirls in the kadhai. Switch off the flame and add lemon juice to it. Let it cool.

When the jam is completely cooled, transfer it to a steriled glass jar. Refrigerate mango jam for longer shelf life and can consume it with bread,idli or dosa.
