Lauki Daal (Red Lentil with Gourd)

Wash the Red lentil. Take a pan in the gas, add the lentil, 3 cups water, salt, turmeric powder & chopped onion & let the lentil boil for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes,add the diced gourd & boil for another 10 minutes. Take this mixture off from the gas once gourd is boiled completely.

Take another pan in the gas, add chopped garlic in it, when the garlic has turned brown, add the five blisters powder & stir for 2 minutes.

Now add this seasoning in the Lentil mixture & again place the Lentil mixture in gas, after one, add green chillies & coriander & take it off from the gas. Your Lauki Daal is ready to serve with plain rice or roti.
