This is a very common, popular and delicious dessert recipe made with very simple and less ingredients. Gluten free and very very tasty, perfect for any occasion.

In a pan pour the milk and boil it over medium heat for 3 to 4 mins. Then keep it aside.

In a kadai add the ghee and fry the cashew nuts till they change their colour and then keep them aside. Now add the grated carrot and fry them over low to medium flame for 7 to 8 mins till they change their colour and become tender.

Now add the milk and cook it for 10 to 12 mins untill the carrots cooked properly and become smashy. Then add the sugar and cardamom powder. Continue cooking over low to medium flame for another 3 to 4 mins untill the halwa starts to leave the side of the pan.

Add the cashews and your gajar ka halwa is ready to serve.
