Ingredients

20 minutes
6 persons
  • 1 cupall purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoonbaking powder
  • 1 teaspoonkosher salt
  • 1 cupgranulated sugar
  • 1/2 cupcurd
  • 1 cupcold water
  • 2 teaspoonsground cinnamon
  • 1egg
  • 11/2 cupcanola oil

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Assemble all the ingredients.

    In a large mixing bowl add flour, baking powder and salt mix it well.

    Now add curd mix well then add egg, 2 tablespoons oil, granulated sugar and add gradually water to make a smooth batter.

    Heat oil in a pan in a medium heat. Then pour the batter in a icing bag and make bunuelos at your own choice.

    Fry it golden brown from both sides. Remove bunuleos to paper towel and keep aside.

    Spread cinnamon and sugar in a plate.

    Then coat the bunuelos both sides with cinnamon - sugar mixture.

    Bunuelos may be stored in an airtight container up to 3 days.
