Simple salad topped with sesame Dates

This is just a regular plain salad with a slight twist ... Sesame dates .
I don't really like onions in this particular salad as I feel it tends to defeat the taste of the dates , buts it's optional.
I never had Fetta cheese so I used what I had which was Gouda but it turned out to be a great and tasty substitute 👌

Ingredients

  1. Halfa Lettuce cut (Any of your choice)
  2. Halfa Cucumber (sliced in half)
  3. Halfa Bell Pepper Sliced
  4. Onion (very thin slices)
  5. 7Cherry tomatoes (cut in half)
  6. 100 gGouda Cheese (cubed)
  7. PinchFreshly Ground Black Pepper
  8. 2Tblsp Butter
  9. 5dates (cut into strips or cubes)
  10. 2 TspSesame Seeds
  11. Dressing :
  12. 2Tblsp Olive Oil
  13. Pinchon salt
  14. Pinchon black pepper (for taste)
  15. 1/2 TspOriganum

Cooking Instructions

    Cut all your ingredients and place them into a bowl.

    Mix your dressing and pour over your salad well.

  3. 3

    Cube your cheese and add into the salad.

  4. 4

    Sprinkle on the fresh black pepper.

  5. 5

    In a small pan melt your butter. Once the butter starts to bubble, add your chopped or sliced dates. Once you feel the dates soften. Turn of the heat and add in your sesame seeds.

    Place on kitchen to drain and top over your salad. Serve chill.
